Question:

Please tell me the rise in inches from the top of ball mount to top of the ball. In other words, the hight of the ball once installed on the mount. Thank you,

I went out to our warehouse to take a look at the Curt 2" Hitch Ball # C40004 that you referenced and I measured a height of 2-3/4" from the mounting base to the top of the ball. I have attached an image to assist.

If this doesn't provide the height you need we also have the 2" ball available with an additional 1" rise with part # C40033 or an additional 2" rise with # C40034. These rise measurements would be added to the 2-3/4" height mentioned above.
