Best Trailer Hitch for 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon
Published 10/23/2019 >
Question:
Alrighty. Plan on towing a smaller trailer and need to add a hitch to my 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon. I could spend another 7 hours staring at my screen trying to decide which one is best but I think I'll just ask you to point me in the right direction instead. Which one is the best one for my Subaru? Thanks!

The best trailer hitch we have available for your 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon is the Curt Class III # C13410 because of its hidden crosstube design and superior black powder coat finish. The hidden design means only the 2" receiver is visible from the rear of the vehicle (see attached image) for a clean, from-the-factory appearance, and the powder coat that Curt uses tends to last much longer than those from other manufacturers for prolonged protection against the elements.
The Class III hitch features a 4,000 pound towing weight capacity, a 600 pound tongue weight limit, and is assembled right here in the USA.
I have attached an installation video that you can also use for reference.
If you don't yet have a trailer wiring harness the Tekonsha T-One # 118467 will work perfectly. This custom harness will plug right into factory ports behind the driver's side trim panel for a completely plug-and-play install and provide you with a 4-Way connector to power a trailer's basic signal lights.
I have again attached an installation video that you can follow along with.
