Will a Trailer Lose Height If Only the Center Lippert Correct Track Extension Is Removed
Published 10/23/2019 >
Question:
I installed the Dexter E-Z Flex HD Rubber Suspension System on my 5th Wheel. I lost about two inches of height, it pulls like crap, and it is harder to couple up to the truck. I also left the original LCI correct track system on the outer spring eyes. If I install the RR23QX on my brand new equalizers won’t it put me back to where I need to be?

I do have an option for you but the reason your trailer dropped in overall height is because you removed the center hanger extension which is used in the Lippert Correct Track. In order to then go back to the ride height you had before the equalizers were replaced you would need to re-install the center hanger extension. That said, the Lippert Correct Track was actually discontinued by Lippert due to issues they were having with the system so now would be a good time to get rid of the problem child so to speak and upgrade to the Tandem Axle Lift Kit part # RR23QX which will provide the same height increase as the Lippert Correct Track.
The Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit would not have been the cause of your height loss.
