Install Video for Glacier Tire Cables on Chevy Silverado 3500

Published 10/24/2019

Question:

Thanks but I forgot to tell you my 3500 is a dually and I was looking at the ones that had 2 chains on both sides of the rear 4 chains in total on the rear. Got a video for that install?

I attached an install video that shows how the Glacier Tire Cables part # PW2028C install on a similar 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 as yours for you to check out. Tire cables like this are a perfect solution for what you described. They'll get you through DOT, in an emergency will work, and are lower priced.

I attached a link to an install video for a set of tire chains setup for dually rear wheels part # TC4821 which will show you the install process but since I am not totally sure what size tires you have I am not totally sure this is the solution you need. These do fit tire tire sizes: 225/85-16 235/80-17 (common size for your truck) 235/85-16 245/75-15 245/75-16 255/70-16 265/70-15 265/75-15 7.5x16 9.5x16.5 The other really common tire size for your truck is 265/70-18 which the correct size of chain in this style would be the # TC4831.
