Comparing Malone SaddleUp Pro Kayak Carrier MPG1001 and MPG110MD

Question:

Are the saddles the same and the only difference is the mounting hardware? I have the MPG1001 and didnt like that the screws pushed against the bottom of the slot in the crossbar, left indentations. I replaced the screws and T-nuts with M8 T-bolt 853-5715 and 3 wing M8 hand knob 753-0776. Need two more sets of saddles and will likely get the MPG110MD if Im going to replace the mounting hardware anyway.

Correct, the only difference between the Malone SaddleUp Pro Kayak Carrier part # MPG1001 and the Malone SaddleUp Pro Kayak Carrier part # MPG110MD is hardware. The former comes with t-bolts to mount in a channel and the latter comes with wrap around style clamps.
