Where is 12 Volt Battery Located on 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid to Install Trailer Wiring Harness

Question:
Hello Where is the “starter battery” located 2019 RAV4 hybrid. I purchased a hitch and Curt connector from you, all was going well till I tried to find a source for power. I read a another question on your site regarding the same thing. It was mentioned to get power from the “starter battery”, could you tell me where this battery is ???? In the older RAV4’s it was in the cargo area, I didn’t see one there in my 2019 thank you

Thank you for the purchase of the etrailer Hitch # e23ZR and Curt Wiring Harness # C56434 for your 2019 Toyota RAV4 hybrid and I can tell you exactly where the 12 volt battery is for your vehicle.
I took a look at the owner's manual, and on page 576 it stated the 12 volt battery was located in the "right hand side of the luggage compartment." To access this you need to open the deck board (the floor of the cargo area, basically) by pulling its tab up to raise it. The battery will be on the right (passenger) side and have a cover on it that will need to be removed; once you do that you will be able to access the battery.
Apart from this, the installation process will be exactly the same as in the video I linked for you. I also linked the video install of the hitch for you if that is still a project you'll be completing.
