Should Trailer Axle Have Slight Upward Bend

Question:
My axle looks to be bent on the wrong direction? Could it have been put in upside down?

You did not specify which way your axle was bent, but a trailer axle such as the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam # T3584F-EZ-8974 should have a slight upward bend, as you should be able to see in the accompanying photo of this axle installed. The reason for this is because the axle will flatten out when it is under a load. If yours does not look similar it may have been installed incorrectly or you may have another suspension issue so I recommend taking your trailer to a local trailer repair shop or potentially contacting any type of local trailer repair specialist and have them take a look to try and diagnose the issue.
