What should a st235/80/16 12ply trailer tire pressure be??

Expert Reply:
If you check the sidewall of the tire you have you should see a max psi listed. This is the psi you should inflate the tire to when cold and you'd be set since trailer tires are actually designed to be ran at max psi. This ensures you get full capacity and prevent heat build up.
We don't carry a 12 ply rated tire in this size but most likely the figure is 90 psi based on our similar 10 ply rated Karrier tire # AM10248. The lower ply ratings are typically around 80 and the higher ones are 110 psi so 90 is most likely what you'll need to run but you should verity to be sure.
