Install Location of Kat's Custom Fuse Block Heater # KH11481 on 1999 Toyota Tacoma 2.4L

Question:

Hi, Which freeze plug does the #KH11481 fit in on a 1999 Tacoma 2.4L 2WD 5 speed? I tried the LF freeze plug drivers side, as per the Kats catalog, but the cylinder wall is too close and the heater doesnt have enough room to fit. Thanks

According to Kat's the correct plug-in location for the Custom Engine Block Heater # KH11481 on your 1999 Tacoma with the 2.4L engine is the FL position, which is at the very right side of the engine (towards the driver's side) at the front (towards you) when facing the vehicle with the hood up. It sounds like you may be looking more towards the side of the engine block.
