Front Mount Hitch For A Winch On 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty Diesel King Ranch

Updated 08/26/2019 | Published 08/25/2019

Question:

2017 Ford f350 6.7L diesel king ranch 4x4. Im seeing mixed results on if this fits with a diesel. Also wondering if this interferes with the adaptive cruise control. Im looking for a reciever to be able to attach a winch too. 12k lb winch maybe bigger. Is there a better option?

I do have an option for you but the EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7904 is designed for gasoline models only because the diesel models have extra cooler lines that get in the way during installation.

I recommend Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 65076 because it fits the Diesel model. It also has a 9,000 lb line pull rating so you would not want to exceed 9,000 lbs with your winch. Installing the hitch itself will not interfere with the adaptive cruise control. However, I cannot say that anything that you put into the hitch (like a winch) wouldn't interfere with the sensors.
