To find the correct replacement tarp for your 2008 GMC Sierra you will need to know the brand and model of your current tonneau cover. The easiest way is to locate the serial number. Most of the time the serial number can be found on the driver's side front rail (see photo). If you can find the date code that is also very helpful.

If you cannot locate the serial number or date code you can plug your truck year, make and model into our fit-guide and browse through the Tonneau Cover page to try to identify the one you have. Please note that you will need to specify the size of your bed as well as if your Sierra has a cargo management system or not.

Once you pin point your specific brand and model of cover, you can easily find the replacement tarp under the "Replacement Parts" at the bottom of the page.

For example, if you have an Extang BlackMax Soft Tonneau Cover # EX2650 for a 2008 GMC Sierra with a 6.5 foot bed and without cargo management system. The correct replacement tarp shown on the product page is item # EX1650.

The Replacement Tarp for Extang BlackMax Soft Tonneau Cover # EX1905 you referenced is a replacement cover for the Extang BlackMax Soft Tonneau Cover # EX2905 which fits a 2015 Toyota Tacoma with a 5 foot bed.

Let me know if you find the serial number and or date code and I will help you find the correct replacement.

As mentioned above, I would need to know what specific model tonneau cover you have installed on the F-150 to verify the right replacement tarp. Do you have this info or can you tell me any numbers/info that might be printed on the unit?
