Question:
My RV has elec/Hydraulic disc Brakes. My tow vehicle is a 2018 Chev. K-3500 with factory trailer brakes that have a 4-5 second delay for activation. Which sometimes is to long. Will the Spectrum help my Braking problem?

The Curt Spectrum Brake Controller # C51170 will absolutely work with your 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500 and is going to be a much better option than a factory brake controller for a trailer with electric over hydraulic brakes. We see very often that factory brake controllers struggle with electric over hydraulic braking systems and the Spectrum is going to be a major upgrade in this regard as it is designed to work with electric as well as EOH systems.
You will also need the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers # C51451 for your '18 Chevy 3500.
I have added a link to a video review of this controller for you to check out as well.
