The Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack # NV12G does have an integrated anti-rattle wedge that deploys from the shank when tightening the knob but you can certainly add an additional device for even more stability at this connection. For this I recommend taking a look at the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch # RM-061-125. This is designed for 1-1/4 inch hitch receivers and works to eliminate that rattle and movement by sliding over the bike rack's shank and hooking the U-bolt around the collar of the receiver. Please just keep in mind that your hitch receiver needs to have a collar or ring around it for this to work.
I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.
Because of the shank design on the Kuat NV a standard anti-rattle/threaded hitch pin will not be compatible.
