Who Makes Leaf Springs of Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit

Question:
Hello, who builds these slipper Springs? I’m just about maxed out for weight on my 7000lb axles. I’m about 6700lbs. I have Lippert leaf springs on now and there flatting. I hear Dexter are better or heavier. I just don’t want to put these on and have problems again! Does a slipper spring take weight better than a leaf? Thanks

Roadmaster makes the leaf springs of the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2570. Since you have 7k axles now and are under the capacity of the current springs this kit would work really well for you. Roadmaster makes very high quality suspension components in the RV world. You'll be very happy with the leaf springs of this kit as well as the overall ride quality improvement you'll experience. Most likely your current springs are worn out which is why they seem to be failing. This means its a really good time to replace them before they break on you.
Slipper springs in general are more heavy duty than double eye springs. I wouldn't say one style is superior to the other but when you get to the higher capacities you see more slipper spring setups which end up being more heavy duty and reliable since there are fewer smaller parts like shackle straps.
