Dimensions of the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Slipper Spring System

Published 08/24/2018

Question:

Id like to be sure that this will work on my trailer before I purchase. Therefore I have some questions that could get me closer to that determination. 1 What is the inside width of the Center Box? 2 What are the dimensions of the cutout in the top of center box that current hanger is to go through? 3 What is the max.-min. measurement that will work as far as top of center-box to center of center-hanger bolt hole that will work. I see in the pictures that it is a slot, rather than a hole.

I went out to our warehouse and measured one of the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Slipper Spring System like part # RM-2460-2570 for you. The box is 3-1/4" wide and the opening is 3-3/4" long x 2-3/4" wide. I have attached a photo of these measurements for you as well.

According to my contact at Roadmaster, the center leaf spring hanger will need to be between 3" - 3-1/2" from the bottom of the frame to the center of the bolt hole. If the hanger you have will not work with these measurements you can use the Leaf Spring Hanger part # 28-5.
