Does Wiring Harness for 2001 Lexus RX 300 for Factory Tow Package Require Programming

I bought the new wiring harness for my 2001 RX300 Lexus I put it on I put the hitch on I put the fuse where it belongs and Im getting no lights working somebody said I have to program it is that true

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # C55245 does not require any programming as it is a simple replacement for the factory 4-flat on your 2001 Lexus RX 300; it does require the fuse be put into the location shown in the accompanying photo I added from the linked installation instructions.

If you did not already have the factory 4-flat then this wiring harness would not work and you would instead need the Vehicle Wiring Harness # C59496.

Yes, the Curt Wiring Harness part #C55245 that you referenced does include a 20 amp fuse.
