Do Trailer Tire Sizes 5.70-8 and 18.5 x 8.5 - 8 use Same Wheel Width

will the 5.70x8 fit the rim of a 18.5x8.5x8 tire I have now.

The rim width requirements between the two sizes you mentioned are different enough that either size would not fit the same rim. The 5.70-8 fits 3-3/4 inch wide rims and the 18.5 x 8.5 - 8 requires a 7 inch wide wheel.
If you want to go with a 5.70-8 size you'll need to replace the wheel with it too like with the # AM30155 which has a white wheel.
