Which Wire on Dexter Trailer Brake Magnets is Power and Ground
Published 07/09/2019 >
Question:
Hey there. On my 2015 Lippert axles for 6000 lb the electric brake wires are color coded but the stock brake wires are both black at the 3M connector. Question, on your Dexter brakes is the electro magnetic unit polarity sensitive?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Trailer brake magnets are not polarity sensitive. Either wire can be used as the power wire and the other for ground.
