how do I a hitch that will be compatible with the LCI Turning point pin box when it is in turning mode? have tentatively purchased the Curt Q20 but have heard that is not compatible with the turning point in turning mode. can i use the custom curt wedge with my curt q20 series hitch and the LTI turning point pin box.

There is a great option for a Curt 5th wheel hitch you can use with your Lippert Turning Point pin box, but the Curt Q20 Fifth Wheel Hitch # C16130 is not compatible. The reason is the head of the Q20 has what is called a "spherical axial bearing" which is really a fancy way of saying it pivots 360 degrees. This means it is not stable enough to work with a rotating pin box such as the Turning Point or a Sidewinder.
A very similar hitch that will work with your Turning Point pin box is the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16115 along with the necessary Wedge # RP64FR. This will keep the king pin from rotating inside the hitch.
