Troubleshooting Grease Not Getting All the Way Through Equalizer Wet Bolt

Question:

I have one spring hanger bolt that will take grease but the new grease only pushes out on the nearer space to the zerk fitting. Not sure if it is getting all the way to the other side. Is this o.k..? Getting ready to leave on a trip,thanks for your help

If you have a Wet Bolt like # 126B2 and you are only seeing grease come out near the zerk fitting when lubricating it then most likely there's some old grease that's clogging things up and it needs to be cleaned out. Your best option right now will be to remove the bolt and clean it out completely and then re-install it.

To prevent this from happening again I just recommend applying grease to the zerk a bit more often throughout the year.
