Will EcoHitch Trailer Hitch 306-X7284 Fit a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen TDI or Just the non-TDI

Question:
Hello, posts on this site state that The only hitch that fits a 2010 VW Jetta SportWagen TDI is the # 306-X7284. However, I see that it says it fits the 2010 Jetta Sportwagen EXCLUDING TDIs! Also this website only has videos of the install for 20014 model. Can you help shed some light on this?

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 306-X7284 fits 2010 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen if it is the TDI model, or even if it isn't. and I couldn't find anything. This trailer hitch is confirmed to fit the both.
As far as install videos go, we shoot videos as customer's bring in their vehicles to our Wentzville, MO location to have parts installed. So far (October 2023) we have yet to have a customer with a 2010 VW Jetta SportWagen come in for an install which is why we don't have a video for your specific vehicle. If you check out the attached video of the trailer hitch on a 2014 model you will get a good idea of what the install entails.
