Troubleshooting Stabilizing Jack That Will Not Extend
Question:
I recently used my fifth wheel and got the stabalizing Jacks in the rear retracted but when I parked it they would not extend. The motor runs but when I took the motor off the trailer I noticed the piece on the motor that turns the bolt on the Jack does not turn when I push the extend or retract button. Is there something internal I can look at or am I out of options?

If your stabilizing jack retracts but does not extend it could be something very simple like your battery is not charged enough to deliver the needed power, or it could be the switch is bad, so you will want to check the wiring on the switch to make sure there isn't some issue like a short.
If you have the Lippert Components High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC369774 or # LC298707 and find the switch is the issue you can replace it with Replacement Electric Jack Switch with Harness for Lippert Components High Speed Stabilizer Jacks # LC387874 (black) or # LC144214 (white) while for a new motor you would need the Replacement Electric RV Stabilizer Jack Motor for Lippert Components Landing Gear # LC352338.
I have added links to video reviews of these parts for you to take a look at.
