Availability of Replacement Lift Cylinder for UWS Single Lid Tool Box

I have a UWS single lid tool box, Lifts that came on it have the name of SpringLift Attwood Corp. SL99-45-1. Both lifts are week and lid slambs shut. The lifts I removed measures tip to tip 10 7/8 inches long. The new ones above measures 11 inches. Will the #UWSLIFTCYLIND THAT OPENS TO 11 INCHES FIT ON MY TOOL BOX that came with the 10 7/8 ?

I spoke with my contact at UWS and they said that the UWS Replacement Lift Cylinder, part # UWSLIFTCYLIND, will fit all of the UWS toolboxes. The name on the lifts could change if they switch to a different supplier.
