Removing the Exhaust to Install Curt Hitch on 2019 Jeep Cherokee
Updated 06/04/2019 | Published 06/01/2019 >
Question:
I have been trying to install this thing for the last 4 hrs. I cant get the hitch on the frame because of the 2 pins that were loosened and taken off wont let the exhaust down far enough to slide the hitch up. The next clamp on the system is up front attached to the cat converter. Do i have to take this clamp off and if so,will it let me be able to the exhaust far enough to put the hitch up? Is there a video that shows how to do this?

There is not a video available as of this writing (June 2019) but there is a clamp just forward of the muffler that needs to be loosened so you can remove the rear portion of the exhaust from your 2019 Jeep Cherokee to install the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13395. You mentioned loosening two pins but you should start by removing the two bolts holding the hanger bracket.
If you take a look at the linked directions it does outline this.
