Will Curt Cargo Basket # C18115-117 Fit Thule Evo Wingbar Roof Rack

Question:

HI there, Im really hoping I can make this basket work with my current set up. 2016 Honda Odyssey. Factory rails. Thule evo wingbar 150 60. The specs on the cross bar has them at 3 1/8 inches wide. Seems like the bar compatibility for the this curt basket is 3 inches wide for the bars. Do you think that 1/8 of an inch will not make this work? This basket is checking all my boxes as to what Im looking for including price. Thanks for your attention.

You are correct that the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # C18115-117 will mount to crossbars that have a maximum width of 3 inches. While 1/8 of an inch doesn't seem like a lot, this extra width on your Thule Evo Wingbars will indeed prevent this particular basket from securely attaching.

The closest option we have available in terms of both price and size that WILL fit your Thule Evo Wingbars is the SportRack Vista Cargo Basket # SR9035-9036. This basket measures 66-3/4 inches long, 39-1/8 inches wide, and 6-1/4 inches tall. Its removable center extension piece also allows you to have a shorter basket if desired. When used without the extension the basket measures 44 inches long and 39-1/8 inches wide.
