Locking Hitch Pin Recommendation for a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 Tradesman with 2-1/2 inch x 2-1/2 inch My truck is new and the 2-1/2 inch x 2-1/2 inch hitch is as built by the manufacture. What locking hitch Pin do you recommend?

For your factory Ram 2500 trailer hitch with 2-1/2 inch receiver, I recommend the BOLT Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # BL7018448 because it will use your factory ignition key and save you the hassle of a separate key.

If you prefer the separate key and want the anti-rattle built in, then I recommend the XL Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2-1/2" Hitches - 3-1/2" Span # SHP2040-XL. This will work great with ball mounts and many accessories that don't have a specific threading.

If you have a solid shank accessory or weight distribution shank, then I recommend the etrailer.com receiver lock # e98881. This can be keyed alike if you desire multiples.
