When you’re driving in states that require carrying traction devices, these Titan Chain Cable Tire Chains are the perfect just-in-case set to keep in your trunk. They’re compact, lightweight, and don’t take up much room, so you can stash them under a seat or beside your roadside gear. Each pair provides reliable traction for light snow while keeping your ride smooth with their low-profile roller design that wraps around wire cables.
Newer vehicles often leave very little space between the tire and suspension parts. These cables meet SAE Class S standards, which means they’re built for that limited clearance. You only need a minimum of 1.46" (37 mm) above the tread and 0.59" (15 mm) on the sidewall, so they’ll clear surrounding components without contact. That Class S compatibility makes them a dependable choice when regular chains simply won’t fit.
For those winter days when roads are dusted with snow or light ice, the ladder-style pattern on these cables helps you keep momentum. The rollers grip as the tires rotate, giving a steady forward bite instead of spinning out. They’re ideal for occasional snow travel, cabin access, or steep driveways where a bit of extra traction keeps you in control.
Getting these cables snug is quick and straightforward—just feed the cable through the steel channel and secure it. There are no levers to fuss with. Add a set of Titan rubber adjusters (sold separately) for a tight, centered fit that stays put as you drive. That small addition helps the cables perform better and last longer.

Each cable is made from low-carbon steel for strength and flexibility, so they can handle cold-weather stress without snapping. The smooth rollers protect your tires from harsh abrasion and make for a quieter ride on packed snow. After each use, dry and store them to keep the steel in good shape for many winters of backup traction when you need it most.

This is my 4th pair of tire cables. Never have used any of them, just carry them in case. Maybe I should stop buying different vehicles, lol.

Chains do not come with lever fastener. Wish I had known that before purchasing. Great quality chains. Great customer service.
The fit was good. Got here sooner than expected. etrailer. Has the best customer service. Had no idea they carried so many things.
Great customer service and quick shipping. Good selection of chains/cables. 5 STARS!!!
The bag is in rough shape. Torn handle, covered in stains and dirt. Cable rollers have rust all over them. Entire kit looks used
For a Ram 2021 4x4 with upgraded wheels and snow tires. 275 65 20 so got these just in case it gets really bad or required to have them. Don't anticipate ever using them though.
Easy to order from etrailer.com. I received my order three days before the scheduled date. they were easy to install and fit great. I have not used them in the snow yet but I am now ready for my February trip.
I just received my latest order for snow cables for my new truck. I've been ordering tire chains and cables from etrailer for the past 15 years. They have great service and they always have equipment in stock. Shopping is easy and if I need additional information I just call one of the representatives for help.
Great service, quick response. Thank y ou.
For those with an F-250 with 20” wheels, you know the pain of figuring out what you can and cannot do, according to Ford’s owners manual, for chains/cables. If you live in a state that requires carrying chains (traction devices), figuring out what will work with the 250/350’s can be confusing. I knew I needed cables for the 20”s but couldn’t find the right ones that fit a 275/65r20, so after a few minutes online, I called the 800 number. Great response, very helpful, knew exactly what I needed and was even able to recommend the tensioners I needed. I was able to order them online within 5 minutes. The shipping on etrailers part was exceptional, not so much for UPS, but they still got to me in a very reasonable time. Overall, I’m super pleased with my etrailer online and on phone experience!
You’re probably wondering about the cables I bought? I dunno, they look great, and the bag they came in was a plus, as it fits under the back seats no problem. The F-250 Fx4 really does not need cables, even with the stock Michelin’s ATX, took it up into the mountains with 2-3” new snow and more falling all day and didn’t experience any issues. But I gotta have them legally, so these are the ones I got and I think they’ll do very well if I ever get stuck.
Haven't had to use them, but they seem like a decent quality. My tire is 325/65R18, the equivlant 35x12.50R18. It fits these tires mostly fine. My concern is that it might be too short to get the best fit. On mine, I was down to the second-to-last ferrule and it felt already tight. I think it may be better if it had more ferrules and closer distance between them. As the truck rolls along and the tire compresses/expands/contracts, it may snap the cable compared to a chain. I have rubber tensioners and that may compound the issue more. Otherwise, it seems like a decent cable if you need lower clearance.
Item was obviously returned from prior customer. Case is stained and has small puncture, obviously was in someone’s truck for awhile, not sure if chains themselves were used…. Not thrilled…
Ordering was easy and delivery was actually a day early. Christine A. helped with determining cables or chains and which cables for our 2022 Bronco Sasquatch w/oversize tires (315-70/R70).
Fits my F-350 20's without causing chipping of the rim.

Still using these chains when needed. They also work well in our adobe mud.
Prompt Shipping. Packed Well.
Cables fit my Bronco Sasquatch LT 315/70R-17 tires just fine. Clearance appears to be okay. Did use tensioners. No opportunity to use them yet. Great price and fast safe shipping.Website useful and informative.
They will work just fine for up hunting in the mountains. The TRX/RHO says no chains, but these clear. There are times you must have a little extra bite, slow speeds..these will be perfect
