Question:

2004 chevy express van chassis cab. What other hightong weight hitches fit this Need hitch fo 2004 chevy express the holes are 39 On center i tow 10k dump trailer everywhere need some thig heavy duity The buyers hitch for the Chevy express cutaway Isnt heavy enuf I would like to be at at least 1500 preferably 2400 lb tongue weight and somewhere between 14 and 16000 lb tow weight Im assuming Curt probably makes a product but I dont see anything else on your page my friend rails are 42 in outside and I think theyre 35 inside and I needed to have somewhere between a 2 1/2 and a 5 inch

The Buyers Products 2" Hitch Receiver For GM Express/Savana with Cutaway Chassis # 3371801102 is the only direct fit hitch for your 2004 Chevy Express Van Chassis Cutaway.

For a heavier duty hitch, you will need to weld the hitch in place and I recommend the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver - Weld On - Class V - 2" # 41990-07. This hitch is rated for up to 1,600 lbs tongue weight and up to 16,000 lbs towing. The hitch has a crosstube that is 44 inches long so it will work well on the 42 inch frame.

If you prefer a 2-1/2 inch receiver, the Buyers Products Class 5 Service Body Hitch Receiver # 3371801052 will have the same dimensions and capacity ratings.

I don't have anything with the 2,400 lb ideal capacity you were seeking for your vehicle.
