The Thule HideAway Awning - Direct Mount - Waterproof - 80 sq ft # TH490011 will mount directly to the side of your 2015 Forest River R-Pod trailer with the included mounting brackets and hardware. It will require drilling directly into a stud/support location to give you the weight support needed. I recommend using silicone in the locations where you install the brackets as outlined in the attached instructions. You can use either # 0160297 or a silicone gasket maker like # LT37467 or # LT37464 to keep your water seal.

The Thule SpareMe part #TH963PRO cannot be used at the rear of camper so this would not work for your Rpod. Instead you'd want a bike rack like the Swagman Around the Spare part #S80501 which would work well for you. It attaches to the camper…
