Can the 2-1/2" Long Torx Screw for ACQ Treated Wood be Used with AC2 Treated Wood and Aluminum

Question:
I am replacing the rotted plywood on my aluminum pontoon boat with 5/4inch X 6inch X 20foot AC2 treated boards from Menards. This treated wood is ok to use with Aluminum but now I am needing screws. Will these screws have any reaction to the AC2 treated boards or the aluminum. Thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
I reached out to my contact at Redline who said that there shouldn't be any issues with using the 2-1/2" Long Torx Trailer Floor and Wall Liner Screw for ACQ Treated Wood # TFX250ACQ to secure your AC2 treated boards to your pontoon trailer even if it were aluminum. So you will be just fine using this screw for your application.
