Question:

What is the best way to attach to 2x8 pressure treated wood on a 12 foot open trailer, with the frame being aluminum? Wood screws? galvanized bolts through the track/wood and secured with bolt on the under side?? Want to use the Erickson Wheel chocks to secure the front wheels of my Polaris RZR.

In order to attach the deck boards to your open trailer, I recommend using 1/2" carriage bolts. These carriage bolts can be either zinc plated or made of stainless steel. They will need to run though both the deck board and trailer frame. In order to then attach the Erickson Horizontal E-Track part # EM59150 so you can use the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit w/ Ratchet Straps and Wheel Chocks part # EM09160, I recommend using standard grade 5 or higher 1/4" hex head bolts along with the E-Track Backing Plate part # e96RR for more support. I do not recommend using the same carriage bolts you use to attach the deck boards for the e-track.

The deck board and e-track bolts can be obtained for your local hardware store.
