Yes, I can tell you what you need to tow your 2013 Ford Flex behind your Jayco Motor Home.
I recommend Roadmaster Base Plate kit part # RM-524435-4. The Roadmaster base plate installs on the front lower frame of the Flex behind the bumper to provide an attachment point for the tow bars. I like the Roadmaster base plate because the installation requires less drilling then the other options for your vehicle.
For the tow bar, I recommend Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain part # RM-522. The Roadmaster All Terrain allows you to release your vehicle on uneven ground. A lot of tow bars require the setup to be perfectly level before allowing the bars to release because of tension buildup. The Roadmaster All Terrain bar is designed with a freedom latch that allows you to release the tension in the bars by flipping a latch.
The Roadmaster All Terrain does not come with safety cables. I recommend Demco coiled cables part # DM9523003.
For the wiring, I recommend Roadmaster Diode kit part # RM-15267. The Roadmaster kit allows the Flex's lights to illuminate when the motor home's lights illuminate while towing. The Roadmaster diode kit is a more permanent solution to lighting compared to the magnetic lights that you have to put on the vehicle and take off each time you are ready to tow the vehicle. It is also a better option then the bulb and socket tail light wiring kits because you do not have to drill a hole in the back of your tail light assembly which can lead to moisture in the tail lights. The kit also comes with a coiled cord to connect the towed vehicle and motor home. The coiled cord is less likely to get tangled or drag the ground. I have attached an installation video for your reference.
Most states require a supplemental braking system when towing. I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot Portable braking system part # BLU37TR. The Blue Ox Patriot is a portable unit that sits on the floor board of the Flex and depresses the brake pedal when it senses the Motor home braking. It plugs into the 12V accessory outlet of the Flex. The Blue Ox Patriot's setup is a lot more convenient than the other options that require a lot of wiring. I have attached a video for your reference.
You may need a high low adapter to tow the Flex level with the motor home. More than likely the motor home sits higher than the Flex so you need a high low adapter with a drop. The difference between the amount of distance from the top of the hitch receiver on the motor home to the ground and the distance from the Flex's front bumper to the ground is the amount of drop you need. I have attached a link of the high low adapters we carry.
