Question:
6000# Equilizer Hitch minus Bars I have a 1575 lance and I was provide with an Equilizer 4000# hitch, trailer sways more than I would like it to, when even in a bit of wind. I’m wondering if moving to a 6000# hitch would work. We tow with a 2018 Toyota Highlander Limited. 5000# towing and 500# TW. Thinking the hitch was under sized or just at limit. I was given some brand new 6000# bars, so really only need hitch. Or possibly, can you recommend something it between?

To determine the best system for your Lance 1575 I would need to know what the loaded tongue weight of your trailer is and then add any cargo weight loaded behind the rear axle of your 2018 Highlander.
Without knowing the year of your trailer, I grabbed specs from the manufacturer for the most recent model and based on that info the 6,000 lb system # EQ37061ET would work just fine. The Replacement Head for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems - 600 lbs TW # EQ90-02-0600 will work with the bars you were given. There is not a system rated between the one you have and this one, so I do think it will be a good upgrade. You can use the same shank you have as well as the same hitch ball and other hardware.
I've attached an article on weight distribution to help further.
