Weight Distribution Solution for Trailer that has 1,800 lb Tongue Weight

Question:

Trailer is 10k dry. Payload is 4k. Tongue weight is 1825. What can I use that doesnt force me to change out the reciever on my truck to a newer 2 1/2? Thanks.

1,800 lbs of tongue weight is quite a bit which is why the only solutions require the use of the heavier duty 2-1/2 inch hitches. The Blue Ox WD system part # BXW2000 that you referenced is going to be your best solution but it does require a 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch installed. If you can get back to me with the year/make/model of your truck I can look up what would be the best options for that as well.
