Bar Style Compatible with Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Rack Y01151-5768

Question:

Hi, I am looking at the Yakima HD Overhaul bed rack. It appears they are designed to work with the HD crossbars. Can the HD bars be swapped for the Yakima round bars and still work on this bed rack? Much like the Baseline Towers, you can buy adapters for any of the bars... Thanks!

The Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Rack # Y01151-5768 is not compatible with round Yakima bars and no adapter is offered to allow using them on this item. I confirmed this with my tech contact at Yakima.

Yakima's older Outdoorsman truck racks could use round bars but the current HD Overhaul cannot; it accepts only the 60-inch HD bars.

We do offer accessories for this rack, including eye bolts # Y01162, load stops # Y01161 and a ladder roller # Y01163.
