Does Trailer Hitch Install on 2014 Mercedes Sprinter Require Step Bumper Removal
Updated 03/28/2019 | Published 03/27/2019 >
Question:
this is for a 2014 Mercedes Sprinter with 4 cyl engine does this come in a model where the factory bumper step would have to be removed? I am concerned with the reduced clearance for this model thanks

There aren't any trailer hitches that fit your 2014 Mercedes Sprinter with the factory step bumper that would require the removal of the step bumper to install. When we installed this hitch on a 2014 Sprinter just like yours we found that from the top of the hitch opening down to the ground measured 17 inches. I attached the install video of this hitch on 2014 Sprinter just like yours.
