Recommended Replacement 26-1/4" Slipper Spring

Updated 08/15/2023 | Published 08/14/2023

Question:

I have a 2000 galvanized Shorelander boat trailer, SR-V1724 frame. I need to replace the 5 leaf springs. The current springs have one eye and an open eye. With my tape measure it was around 26”. Do you have this available and if not, is it possible to switch to a two eye spring or even a 4 leaf spring with more weight capacity.

Thanks for the picture! I have something close to your 26" slipper springs. It is possible to switch to a two eye leaf spring or even go down to a four leaf spring with a higher capacity. If you wanted to switch it up to a two eye leaf spring I would need to know the distance from the center of the two bolts. You can email me back that measurement if you decide to make the change.

The 26-1/4" Long 4-Leaf Slipper Spring w/ Open Eye End item # e33SR with a protective coating is the closest option I have available in a slipper spring. This a four leaf leaf spring with a 4,300 lbs capacity.
