14 inch Trailer Tire Size that Fits on a 7 inch Wide Trailer Wheel

Question:

I recently ordered st205/75r14 tires from a big box store, and had them mount them also. They said that after an hour of trying they could not get them to mount onto my 14x7 rims. Waiting on st 215/75r14 from the same place.

The issue you experienced is frustrating for sure but not totally a surprise. The widest rim a tire size 205/75-14 is designed to fit is 6-1/2 inches. The good new is that the tire size you went with of 215/75-14 like the # TTWTRTM2157514D will fit a 7 inch wide wheel so you'll be good.
