Specs:
Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.

Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Kenda ST 205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire in a load range C. Now, this bias ply tire is great for agricultural and off road use. It is constructed with a full nylon plies for long life. They use a nice flat computer generated tread which will provide improved stability and traction for excellent handling.
The rubber compound is an advanced rubber compound, offers longer tread wear as well as low rolling resistance for a nice smooth ride. Now, this tire does offer the tread wear indicators like you'll see in your passenger car tires. That makes it very easy to see your tread depth as it's wearing. This does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. Now a few specs on this. This will fit a wheel size of 14" by 5" wide, 14 by 5 1/2" wide, 14 by 6" wide, and 14 by 6 1/2" wide.
The tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall, ST for special trailer, 205/75D14. The D means it's a diagonal belt, which means it's a bias ply tire. Section width on this tire is going to be 7.8". Overall diameter from the bottom to the very top is 26.3. This tire is a load range C which means it's a six ply rated tire, so the maximum load capacity on this tire is 1,760 pounds at 50 PSI.The last thing I do want to mention is almost all the new trailer tires are coming through with speed ratings on them.
A speed rating is always designated by a letter designation, and they do stamp it on the sidewall. Where you'll usually find that is right after the size. You'll see two numbers for the load index, and then at the end is the letter M. Speed rating M will mean this has an 81 mile per hour speed rating. But that should do it for the review on this Kenda ST 205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire in a load range C..

Fits 14" wheels. The tires were hopeful to be made somewhere other than China and sure enough they were Chinese and crunched up into boxes that were difficult to prep for the rims. My tire guy was very disappointed as was I as I was told that these tires were supposed to be basically the last tires not made in China
I was hoping to give them solid business but unfortunately they will not be receiving any of mine and they were informed of my issues and did nothing about it
I received the tires I ordered earlier than I expected and they were in perfect shape, which is what you would expect for new tires. I had them mounted and they are performing well. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and definitely will order from you again if I need something else.
Good products, delivery and communication regarding my order. Thank you.
Love the tires. Tires run smooth. Arrived well packed and received them in a timely manner. Would shop from this company again.

I ordered these tires for my boat trailer as I have a family fishing trip to go on. And to my surprise they sent me two different size tires. Now I am in a bad situation because I have to take the time that I don’t have to call and explain to these people ( if I can get ahold of a person and not a computer) how they messed up my order. Then send the wrong one back and wait for the right one. In the meantime spend more money at a local tire shop for a cheap tire to get me through my trip. Then when the right tire comes in spend even more money having it installed.

I was surprised to get an invitation to review these tires about a year after purchase. That is a pretty rare commitment to quality and that makes me a pretty big fan of etrailer that's for sure!
When I originally purchase these I recall they were on a back order and took some time to come in, but etrailer was communicative throughout and honored the price at the time of the order even though tire prices were skyrocketing at the time and had gone up considerably by the time they were able to ship. They really are a class act.
As for the tires they are great too!
I had purchased a couple of sets of load range C tires (4.10-8) on rims locally at a big box store prior to this set and had a bunch of problems. They'd air themselves down because of poor fitment to the rim, and dry-rotted and checked within a year of being on the trailer.
These tires on the other hand are excellent in every way. They fit the standard 8" rims properly and hold air and a year later they still look great. They have good side to side traction and handle loading very well. They seem to wear like iron. They are well balanced.
I used these as an up-grade option over 4.10-8 Load Range C tires mounting them myself (I've got a manual tire machine) on the same rims after carefully measuring for clearance on the trailer. This was a good choice for me as even though I don't try to overload the trailer these slightly larger tires provide a better ride under a full load and generally are a tougher tire and better riding.
They travelled 1,300 to KY from MD and back shortly after I mounted them. While in KY I helped my Mom take down an entire garden shed, hauling it, everything that was in it, and a lot of other junk to the landfill in my small trailer (multiple trips). There were times where if I wasn't overloading the trailer, I was definitely at the bitter edge. I felt a lot more confident with these shoes on the trailer than I ever had with any other.
All in all these tires have my confidence and my recommendation!

Very narrow (where the rubber meets the road). Narrower than my previous purchases/use of 'Loadstar' and 'Carlisle' tires. More appropriate for a motorcycle

I purchased these to replace the tires on my boat trailer. They fit the rim but seemed slightly smaller than the tires I took off. The only other thing I noticed is that the tires were made a few months apart and had slightly different lettering. The font or design was different between the two. Since I only had one on each side, it didn’t really matter. Nobody will ever notice it. The tire was as described and should fit the need perfectly. I have already pulled it a few times but nothing heavy, just a couple hundred pounds max including the trailer.

The last time I purchased this tire it was to be used as a spare. Recently had a tire go bad and decided to buy a new tire to match the spare I had and put both on the trailer. Both of the tires on the trailer are now the Kenda ST175/80D13 tire. Lets see how they hold up. Good looking tire. We will see if I can give a 5 star rating after some time on the ground.

Super fast shipping and good phone help as per etrailer!
Tire tech had some problem getting one of the tires
mounted due to its being compressed for shipping
purposes. Maybe a note should be added in listing about this issue
or video of technique used to assist the tire tech.
Thanks

I got this tire for my utility trailer because my old ones dry rotted out and finally started leaking after 28 years. I first replaced the spare and then the two on the trailer.
These Kenda tires came in holding good tire and bead shape, not twisted or mangled. I was pleased with that. The went on the rims really easy. I do it by hand using motorcycle tire irons. I also replaced the valve stems. I recommend these Kenda tires.

Still working great after one year on my boat trailer, they've kept pressure and seem to be holding up well. They were very easy to mount with regular tire bars. Service from etrailer was great as well, they were quick to ship and I received the tires well before I was expecting. Also hard to beat the price!

My tires came folded in half ruining the integrity and shape of the tire, unhappy to say the least.

Nice fresh rubber and larger diameter than the dry rotted tires I removed. Date code on tires less than 6 months old. Installed with two tire spoons and a lot of soap. As ever fast shipping, good prices and excellent service from etrailer.

Tire was shipped fast. No hassle. Good quality. Price was competitive compared to the competitors. This tire is hard to find and it cost a lot for being so small.

This is the first time I have ordered trailer tires from Etrailer and I did not know what to expect with regard to service and product quality. The last pair of tires I had on my pontoon boat trailer were 185/80R13 Marathon tires but according to the specifications, the Etrailer 185/80R13 tires had a better load rating and higher safe speed rating than my old Marathon tires. My Etraier tires also have a 2/2018 date of manufacturing which was also a plus.

Trailer tires for a 5000lb trailer that traveled over 3000 uneventfull miles. Plenty of tire left. Love the tires and the price.

Best trailer tire on the market in my opinion. I installed these tires on my ATV trailer about a year ago and I see no signs of wear yet.

I used these on my ATV trailer...The Load Range D makes a huge difference over the Load range C sidewalls. No more bouncing or swaying from sidewall flex. It really improved the ride quality of the trailer and are much tougher than most other trailer tires offered for a 13 inch rim.

I received the tires early in the morning within the five day window I was promised at my door step. Great service I was lucky that Vicky placed my order and followed up on it. I recommend Etrailer and the customer service I was given.
