Locating VIN on Boat Trailer with Worn Sticker

The sticker is worn out . Is there anywhere else a vin number would be

If the main sticker on your boat trailer is too worn to read the VIN it's possible that the number is stamped elsewhere on the frame itself. Your best bet is to simply try and inspect the frame along the trailer, both outside and inside, to see if the VIN can be located.
If you can't find it anywhere then your only other option is to see if it's in the trailer's original paperwork or have a new one assigned by your local state police or highway patrol.

Hi Chris, I have a boat trailer with no vin anywhere is it legal to buy a junk trailer with a title and use the numbers on my trailer to get it registered?
