Recommended Powered A-Frame Trailer Jack for a T@B 320 Teardrop Camper

Published 01/30/2019

Question:

Thank you for the response. After some further research, I have determined that I need a jack with a triangular base plate to clear some bolts that protrude through the top of the coupler plate. Any recommendations?

Yes, the vast majority of a-frame trailer jacks use the same bolt pattern which is 3" apart on center. Therefore you should have no problems whatsoever using an electric a-frame trailer jack on your T@B 320 S teardrop camper. For this, I actually recommend the Stromberg Carlson Electric A-Frame Tongue Jack part # JET-2500 over the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack part # JET-3755 because it weighs less, 23 lbs vs 26 lbs. The 2,500 lb weight capacity will be more than enough for your trailer as a tongue jack only needs to be rated for the hitch weight.

I have attached a review video for you.

In that case, the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack part # LC285318 would be perfect for you as it has the triangular mounting base that you need to clear the bolts. It also has a light for use at night and grounds through the mounting hardware so less wiring is required. I have attached a review video for you on this jack as well.
