Question:
What is the recommended tire pressure for a trailer tire 20.5X8.0-10
asked by: John
Expert Reply:
The tires in your size that we offer have varying pressure ratings depending on their load capacity.
For example, if you look at the tires in your size shown on the link I have included you will see that those rated for Load range E, such as # AM3H490, have a specified pressure of 90-psi; those rated as Load range C, such as # AM3H400, have a pressure rating of 50-psi.
Trailer tires will indicate their required inflation pressure on the sidewall of the tire. This is usually stated as a "maximum psi". Trailer tires should ALWAYS be inflated to the maximum pressure noted on the sidewall since their load capacity is based on that pressure. It is never appropriate to under- or over-inflate a trailer tire.

I have the Carlisle 20.5x8.0x10 on my pontoon trailer. My pontoon is 22 feet in length. I see on the sidewall the psi should be 50psi. My question is in summer when it’s hot will it still be ok with 50 psi cold pressure.
