How to Determine the Bolt Pattern of a Trailer Wheel

Question:
have 5 bolt axle need to determine bolt circle to order new wheels. 2 3/4 inches between adjacent bolts, approx. 4 1/2 inches to third bolt.

If the distance from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the adjacent bolt hole is truly 2-3/4 inches, then you have a 5 on 4-3/4 bolt pattern. I have included a link to an FAQ article that shows a couple of ways you can determine bolt pattern. If you have the far more common 5 on 4-1/2 then the traditional # AM20522 will work well for you.
