No Power to 12 Volt on 7-Way for a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500

I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 Diesel and Im trying to get the lights in my cargo trailer to work, but there is no power to the pin 12 v constant power pin in the 7 pin connector. How do I get power to that pin?

The first thing you will want to do is check the fuse box on your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 to see if the fuse is in place and entact. The fuse you will be looking for is in the #2 position labeled as "Trailer Battery". If the fuse is in place and intact then odds are you have a short between the fuse box and the 7-way. If you trace the 12 volt wire back starting at the 7-way you may be able to find a break in the wire but as the majority of this wire is most likely hidden you would be better off just running a new one to the battery with part # 10-1-1 and part # 9510.
