For the 40 inch part # CE27620, the arm that attaches to the bracket measures 17 inches and the upward part of the L-shaped arm measures 19-1/2 inches. Dimensions of Steel Tubing in CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons Kit # CE27640 I took a walk to our warehouse so that I could measure the dimensions of the L-shaped square steel tubes in the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons Kit # CE27640. These square tubes are separate from the 60-inch PVC pipes that are included in the kit. From the middle of the bend to the top of the square tube the measure is 21-inches.

I grabbed the 2 guys who answered those questions and we all went out to measure the metal post part of CE Smith Guide-Ons # CE27640.

The vertical part from the bottom to the very top is 39-7/8 inches. From the top of the horizontal tube to the top of the vertical tube it is 38-1/2 inches. And from the end of the horizontal end to where it starts to bend upwards vertically it is 21 inches. I included a picture showing these measurements for you.
