For your 2018 Dodge Durango R/T I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT38MR. This receiver has a hidden cross tube and will fit behind the factory cover in your bumper. The hitch will fit with an 18 inch full size spare, but the 20 inch full size spare of your R/T will not be able to be stored under the vehicle. This is true of all the trailer hitch options.

If you will be towing with this hitch, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118617 which will install behind the rear tail lights to your factory harness and will draw power directly from the vehicle battery to protect your electronics. I've attached an article on routing that power wire to assist. I recommend using the Mounting Bracket # 18144 for your trailer connector.

For a ball mount I recommend the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches # 989900. This kit comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. I've attached a video to assist.
