will this controller replace the other style of wireless airlift controller?

It sounds like you currently have the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25870 which uses the Wireless Remote # AL72704 and are wondering if you can replace it with the Wireless Remote # AL73002. If this is not the case please let me know.
The Replacement Wireless Remote # AL73002 that you are looking at is designed to work specifically with the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000. Because of how the remotes need to sync to the system, you will not be able to use this particular remote with the WirelessONE # AL25980. It will not be compatible.
If your existing remote is damaged you will need to replace it with the same model, part # AL72704.
