Can I add a second camara to my FOD43TA-BL? I want to put a camara on the hitch for hooking up only.

Expert Reply:
The old Furrion system you have will not allow you to add an additional camera. To get that separate camera for backing up, I recommend updating your system or adding to it.
The Furrion RV Observation Camera System w/ Monitor and Bracket - Wireless - 4.3" Screen # FOS43TASF is not able to use multiple cameras, but the 5 inch # FOS05TASF is able to use up to 4 cameras. I confirmed all this with my contact at Furrion. For the additional camera you can use # FCN48TASF.
If you want a separate system to allow you to keep what you currently have, the Rampage Wireless Backup Camera for Smartphone or Tablet - iOS or Android # RA7710 is my recommendation. This will allow you to easily add the camera in the desired location for the best view. You can keep it in place or remove it when your trailer is connected if you prefer.
