Grease Seal With 0.50 Inch Width, 1.68 Inch Inner Diameter and 2.33 Inch Outer Diameter

Question:

Hello, I am having trouble finding the correct grease seal for my 1973 Trail-rite boat trailer. The old grease seal dimensions are I.D. 1.68, O.D. 2.33, and width of 0.5. This grease seal did have a garter spring inside. I did buy the grease seal 168233TB that fit properly, however, I overlooked the width dimension. Now I am having trouble tracking down the seal with the correct dimensions including the width. Your help is greatly appreciated.

The grease seal you are looking for is the Grease Seal - Double Lip # 010-180-00.

This seal has a 1.68 inch inner diameter, 2,33 outer diameter and a width of 0.50 inches, as you can see in the accompanying photo. I went out to the warehouse to check this measurement for you.

Do you know if this is the correct inner wheel seal for a 99 ranger trailer?

I wish I could verify that but there's just not a way for me to know what size grease seal is used on your trailer hubs. You will need to actually measure the diameter of the spindle where it sits or look for a number stamped inside the seal itself.
