Replacement Boat Trailer Seal for a NOK AD2527E Grease Seal

Question:

Is this seal appropriate to be submerged? I have AD2527E seal that I’m trying to replace and another source says that AD2527E seal isn’t appropriate for submersion as on a boat trailer. The race that fits the inner hub is 68110 and the seal seat on the spindle is 1.72 in. I’m looking for the most appropriate seal for my application for a boat trailer. Thanks

The Grease Seal part # 168233 has a double lip so it can be used on a boat trailer and be submersed under water, yes. This is also the correct replacement for the NOK AD2527E Grease Seal that you have now.
